Why we rate it
Despite the name, this is a leave-in, and one of the original Paul Mitchell products. After shampooing, comb a small amount through damp hair and style as usual; there's no need to rinse. It balances moisture, smooths the surface of the hair and cuts down static, and it's light enough for everyday use on any hair type, so it doubles as handy blow-dry prep. The scent is a clean herbal blend of lavender and rosemary. If your hair is very fine, start with a pea-sized amount and keep it to the ends.

Stylist’s tip
Squeeze the excess water out of your hair first so the conditioner isn’t diluted, then work it through the mid-lengths and ends, where hair is oldest and driest. A wide-tooth comb spreads it evenly.
