Refund policy

At The Color UK, a Paul Mitchell Signature Salon, we pride ourselves on providing you with exceptional haircare. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Please note that we currently only ship to and process returns within the UK.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to hygiene reasons and the nature of haircare products, to be eligible for a return, your Paul Mitchell product must be in the exact same condition that you received it: unopened, unused, with all original seals intact, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

2. How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at richard@thecolor.uk. If your return is accepted, we will send you a returns postage label, alongside instructions on how and where to send your parcel.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if a product is faulty, damaged in transit, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and resolve it for you as quickly as possible.

4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned. For our salon, this strictly includes personal care goods (such as opened or used hair products, styling tools that have been used, or any items with broken hygiene seals).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about a specific item.

5. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get the product you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

6. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 working days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 working days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at richard@thecolor.uk.
