Why we rate it
Super Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner are an everyday pair for frizz-prone hair. Plant-derived squalane helps reduce frizz and soften; the shampoo improves manageability, and the conditioner smooths and controls static, left on for one to three minutes before rinsing. Hair dries softer and easier to style. The scent is juicy and fruity: apple, dewberry, white peach and wild strawberry. Both are colour-safe. Paul Mitchell is renaming its Smooth range in some markets, so packaging may change while the formulas stay the same.

Use them as a pair: shampoo focused on the scalp, then conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends, where hair needs it most. Squeeze out the excess water before conditioning so it isn’t diluted.

- Massage into wet hair.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Follow with Super Smooth Conditioner.
Super Smooth Conditioner
- After Super Smooth Shampoo, apply to damp hair from mid-lengths to ends.
- Leave for 1–3 minutes.
- Rinse and style.

Are both products the same size?
In most of our duos, yes: the size you choose applies to both bottles, so a 300 ml duo is two 300 ml bottles. A few duos pair different sizes or formats, for example a hand soap with a body bar. Where we list an item’s size, you’ll find it next to the item under What’s in the set. If a size isn’t shown and it matters to you, call or visit our Bridlington salon and we’ll check for you before you order.
