Why we rate it

The stronger of Paul Mitchell's two dry shampoos, for heavier oil days or after the gym. It leaves a deep-clean feel with a matte finish, adds grip and texture, and stretches the time between washes. Shake the can, spray onto the roots section by section from about 20 cm, then lightly over the rest of the hair. Give it a moment to absorb, then brush or massage it through, adding more where you need extra oil control. It carries the same warm cocoa, vanilla and musk scent as Multitasking Dry Shampoo.

Stylist’s tip

Focus the shampoo on your scalp, where oil and product build up, and let the lather clean the lengths as you rinse. If you’ve used a lot of styling product, two smaller washes usually clean better than one big one.
