Why we rate it
A firm, long-lasting gel for styles that usually refuse to stay put, and particularly handy on coarse hair that's hard to control. It gives a high shine and bold texture, which makes it great for wet looks and slicked-back styles, yet it dries flake-free and washes out cleanly. Work a small amount through clean, damp hair from roots to ends and shape your style, adding a little more for extra control. On dry hair, a touch pieces out texture.

Start with a small amount and spread it evenly with a comb or your fingers before you shape. It’s easier to add a little more than to take too much out.
