Why we rate it

A flexible paste for undone, lived-in styles. It has a mesh-like texture that you activate by working it vigorously between your palms, and it gives a medium hold with a low-shine finish, without crunch or flakes. Hair stays soft, so you can shape, separate and rework it through the day. It suits short to medium lengths and works on damp or dry hair. The scent is pine with fresh lavender.

Stylist’s tip

Warm a small amount between your palms until it’s almost invisible before working it through. It spreads more evenly that way, and you can always add a little more where you need it.
