Essential Shampoo and Conditioner are part of Paul Mitchell's Clear collection, made for people with sensitive skin and scalps. The shampoo has just eight ingredients and the conditioner nine, and both are fragrance-free and dye-free. The shampoo gives a rich, clean-feeling lather and is sulphate-free; the conditioner leaves hair light, soft and manageable and helps control frizz, and may lather slightly as you work it in, which is normal. Both are colour-safe and suit every hair type, and they're a sensible choice for anyone who prefers products without fragrance.

How to use

- Apply to wet hair and massage into the scalp.
- Lather and rinse thoroughly.
- Follow with Essential Conditioner.
Essential Conditioner
- After Essential Shampoo, apply a little to clean, damp hair.
- Massage through; it may lather lightly.
- Rinse.

Are both products the same size?
In most of our duos, yes: the size you choose applies to both bottles, so a 300 ml duo is two 300 ml bottles. A few duos pair different sizes or formats, for example a hand soap with a body bar. Where we list an item’s size, you’ll find it next to the item under What’s in the set. If a size isn’t shown and it matters to you, call or visit our Bridlington salon and we’ll check for you before you order.
